We’re in this together
More Unites us than divides us
Everything we have comes from the collective efforts of everyone who came before us.
We each have a duty and responsibility to pay that forward and build something better for ourselves and those who come after us.
We share more than separates us. Too many people, for too long, have selfishly sown division and poured acid on our collective foundations to enrich and empower themselves at the expense of everyone else. We will always be better, stronger, and happier together than we are apart.
You’D be better ofF running as a Democrat
I’d also be better off running as a 「 moderate 」 independent but I’m not a moderate, or / at least, I’m not what people consider to be 「 moderate 」 today. It is precisely that sort of「 pragmatism 」that has shifted the Overton window so far to the right that people like Biden are considered to be left of center despite having policies to the right of Nixon and Reagan.
I have strong principles and values and will not lie to you about who I am, what I believe, or what I stand for.
If I were satisfied with the status quo, I wouldn’t run. There are too many examples of people who tried to play that game only to become subsumed and integrated into the system.
if you were serious about wanting to WIN, YOU WOulD run as a Moderate independent, or A MODERATE democrat willing to work with Republicans
Thankfully, I am willing to work with Republicans and Democrats alike. I have to if elected because I’ll need some combination of them to vote with me to get anything done.
Gilbert is the second safest city in the nation. Safety comes from education, financial stability, and most of all, community. There is overwhelming evidence that it does not come from law enforcement. They don’t prevent crime and for the most part, they don’t solve it. My ex-wife and I had our car stolen and they laughed at us when we asked about them getting it back.
Consistently across jurisdictions, less than 5% of what police do has anything at all to do with violent crime and even the bulk of that comes well after the crime takes place. Almost everything they do does not require heavily armed paramilitary soldiers in body armor. We only need a tiny fraction of the force we currently have.
Over-policing actively hurts property values.
community first
For a safe community with high property values, we must put our community first. Safety doesn’t come from pouring unlimited amounts of money into law enforcement. Instead, we must fund schools. No investment more consistently and reliably pays back more in time, makes communities safer, or increases property values more.
Having the best schools attracts the best people. As an entrepreneur who has recruited and hired people from across the country, I assure you that educated people who have or are planning families do not want to move to places with underfunded and understaffed schools.
It is perverse that「 defund the police 」has become taboo while「 defund the schools 」has been the standard and accepted policy of Arizona for decades.
If you want to fund the police - vote for a Joe Biden.
If you want to invest in our future and fund the schools, vote for me.
